No Gear Movement Test

  1. Remove hydraulic modulator/motor pack assembly, and separate motor pack from hydraulic modulator. Rotate each gear by hand on hydraulic modulator. Front gears (non-center gear) should rotate about 8-3/4 full turns lock-to-lock. If gear does not turn freely or at least 8-1/2 turns are not possible, replace hydraulic modulator.
  2. The rear gear should rotate about 4 full turns lock-to-lock. If gear does not turn freely or at least 4 turns are not possible, replace hydraulic modulator.
