Clearing Codes

NOTE: EBCM will not permit clearing of codes until all DTCs have been displayed. DTCs cannot be cleared by disconnecting EBCM, battery terminals or turning ignition switch to LOCK position.

Scan tool must be used to clear DTCs. With scan tool connected and ignition on, select "S" from Chassis Menu. Select DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES from Application Menu. Select CLEAR DTC INFORMATION. Scan tool will remind that all DTC data will be erased. Return to Application Menu and select current DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES to confirm clearing of codes.
