Cylinder Block

  1. Using feeler gauge and straightedge, check cylinder block head surface warpage. If warpage exceeds specification, repair as necessary. See CYLINDER BLOCK  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
  2. Measure cylinder bore diameter at 2.5" (64 mm) from top of cylinder bore. Rebore all cylinders if block taper or out-of-round exceeds specification. See CYLINDER BLOCK  table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
