Installing Distributor When Position Has Been Lost
- Remove FI fuse from fuse and relay box. Rotate crankshaft until No. 1 piston is at TDC of compression stroke. Align timing mark on crankshaft pulley to zero position on timing cover.
- Position rotor to number one cylinder position. Install distributor. Reinstall FI fuse. Ensure timing is correct. See IGNITION TIMING in ADJUSTMENTS - 1.0L article.
