Steering Wheel And Steering Column: Overhaul: Notes

CAUTION: DO NOT strike steering shaft with hammer to remove steering wheel. Hammering could loosen the plastic injections maintaining column rigidity.

NOTE: Use illustrations for exploded view of steering column assembly. See Figure or Figure . Perform overhaul procedure with steering column removed from vehicle, and with steering wheel, combination switch and turn signal switch removed from column.
