Service Engine Soon Indicator

SERVICE ENGINE SOON indicator is controlled by Powertrain Control Module (PCM). PCM will turn on indicator light when engine is started for a bulb check. This warning light is part of On Board Diagnostics II (OBD II) system, and will flash or remain on steady when a malfunction or trouble code(s) exists.
