System Testing: Notes
WARNING:
Vehicles equipped with air bag supplemental restraint system. When locating White 2-pin ignition lock cylinder harness connector at base of steering column, DO NOT confuse connector with Yellow 2-pin air bag supplemental restraint system connector also located at base of steering column.
NOTE:
Both wires of 2-pin ignition lock cylinder harness connector at base of steering column are White. When probing 2-pin connector, check for wire color at theft deterrent module side of connector.
NOTE:
To prevent misdiagnosis, first check and repair engine performance related DTCs. See appropriate TESTS W/CODES

NOTE:
SECURITY indicator will remain illuminated for one minute after PASS-KEY II(R) system fault has been repaired.
