Remote Control Door Lock Receiver Does Not Operate Or Cannot Be Programmed
- Connect fused (20-amp) jumper wire between DLC connector terminals No. 4 (Black wire) and No. 8 (Black/White wire). DLC connector is located under lower left side of instrument panel. If all power door locks do not lock and unlock, go to next step. If all power door locks lock and unlock, go to step 4).
- Connect fused (20-amp) jumper between ground and remote control door lock receiver connector terminal "L" (Black/White wire). If all power door locks do not lock and unlock, go to next step. If all power door locks lock and unlock, repair open in Black/White wire between keyless entry receiver and DLC connector.
- Connect test light between ground and remote control door lock receiver connector terminals "E" and "F" (Orange wires). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open circuit in Orange wire(s) between remote control door lock receiver and I/P fuse block. Reprogram remote control door lock receiver to transmitter(s). See PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE.
- Replace transmitter batteries. If transmitter will not operate all remote control functions, go to next step. If transmitter now operates all remote control functions, repair is complete.
- Connect fused (20-amp) jumper wire between ground and remote control door lock receiver connector terminal "L" (Black/White wire). Obtain a known-good transmitter. Operate transmitter by pressing a single button once. Disconnect jumper wire. If known-good transmitter now operates all remote functions, replace inoperative transmitter. Reprogram keyless entry receiver to replacement transmitter. See PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE. If known-good transmitter does not operate all remote functions, replace remote control door lock receiver. Reprogram replacement keyless entry receiver to transmitter(s). See PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE.
