Both Power Door Locks Do Not Operate
- Disconnect door lock relay harness connector. Connect test light between ground and door lock relay harness connector Orange wire terminal. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Orange wire.
- Connect test light between door lock relay harness connector Orange and Black wire terminals. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Black wire.
- Connect test light between ground and door lock relay harness connector Light Blue wire terminal. Place left door lock switch in LOCK position. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, go to step 5).
- Connect test light between ground and left or right power door lock switch harness connector Light Blue wire terminal. Place door lock switch in LOCK position. If test light illuminates, repair open in Light Blue wire between door lock relay and door lock switch. If test light does not illuminate, replace left or right door lock switch.
- Connect test light between ground and door lock relay harness connector White wire terminal. Place left or right door lock switch in UNLOCK position. If test light does not illuminate, go to next step. If test light illuminates, go to step 7).
- Connect test light between ground and left or right power door lock switch harness connector White wire terminal. Place door lock switch in UNLOCK position. If test light illuminates, repair open in White wire. If test light does not illuminate, replace left or right power door lock switch.
- Connect a fused jumper wire between door lock relay harness connector Orange and Gray wire terminals. Connect another fused jumper wire between door lock relay harness connector Black and Tan wire terminals. Observe operation of each door lock. If no or some door lock motors operate, refer to appropriate door lock motor diagnostic procedure. If all door lock motors operate, replace door lock relay.
