Mode 1
Content Theft Deterrent (CTD) system will arm when doors are locked with key or Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter. Key must be removed from ignition when doors are locked or CTD system will not arm. CTD system will disarm when doors are unlocked with key or RKE transmitter.
NOTE:
Mode 2 provides increased security, however if RKE transmitter is lost, damaged or fails to operate while CTD system is armed, CTD system cannot be disarmed with key.
