Chart No. 7, All BCM Features Inoperative
- Using DVOM, check voltage of battery. If voltage is 9-14 volts, go to next step. If voltage is not 9-14 volts, go to step 3).
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect BCM 8-pin connector C1. Using DVOM, check voltage between BCM harness connector C1 terminal "G" (Orange wire) and ground. If voltage is 9-14 volts, go to step 4). If voltage is not 9-14 volts, go to step 5).
- Replace battery. Recheck system operation.
- Check voltage between BCM harness connector C1 terminal "H" (Orange wire) and ground. If voltage is 9-14 volts, go to step 6). If voltage is not 9-14 volts, go to step 7).
- Repair poor connection or open in Orange wire between BCM connector C1 terminal "G" and instrument panel fuse block. Recheck system operation.
- Check voltage between BCM harness connector C1 terminal "H" (Orange wire) and "D" (Black wire). If voltage is 9-14 volts, go tostep 8). If voltage is not 9-14 volts, go to step 9).
- Repair poor connection or open in Orange wire between BCM connector C1 terminal "H" and instrument panel fuse block. Recheck system operation.
- Replace BCM. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . Recheck system operation.
- Repair poor connection or open in Black wire between BCM connector C1 and ground. Recheck system operation.
