Cruise Indicator Inoperative
- Disconnect cruise control module connector. Connect a 3-amp fused jumper wire between cruise control module connector terminal "J" (White wire) and ground. Turn ignition on. If CRUISE indicator is not on, go to next step. If CRUISE indicator is on, check for a poor connection at terminal "J". If connection is okay, replace cruise control module.
- Check for a poor connection, short to power, or open in White wire between cruise control module and instrument cluster. If circuit is okay, check instrument cluster. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article. Refer to menu below.
