Diagnostic Aids

The following conditions may cause an intermittent: Intermittent short or open in circuit No. 1073 (Black/White wire) or No. 1074 (Purple/White wire); poor connections; or dirty key resistor contacts. If DTC B2722 or B2723 is set, BCM's ability to properly read PASS-Key(R) II resistance value will be affected.
