A/C-Heater Control Unit: Notes

The A/C-heater control unit, mounted in the instrument panel, contains A/C-heater mode control, blower control and temperature setting switches. When certain system malfunctions occur, the A/C-heater control unit will store a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). DTCs can be read on A/C-heater control unit display. See SELF-DIAGNOSTICS . The available A/C-heater control modes are as follows:
