Manual Transmission Clutches: Description

System uses a single-plate clutch disc, a diaphragm spring pressure plate and a permanently lubricated clutch release bearing. Clutch release system is hydraulic. Corvette uses a concentric actuator/release bearing combination, located in the clutch housing. The hydraulic system provides automatic clutch release adjustment.
