Door Locks Do Not Operate By Remote Control Door Lock Transmitter

  1. Disconnect remote control door lock receiver connector. Connect test light between receiver connector, terminal "E" (Orange wire) and ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Orange wire.
  2. Connect test light between remote control door lock receiver connector, terminal "F" (Orange wire) and ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Orange wire.
  3. Disconnect remote control door lock receiver connector. Connect self-powered test light between receiver connector, terminal "N" (Black wire) and ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Black wire.
  4. Reprogram a known-good transmitter. See PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE  . Attempt to operate keyless entry system. If new transmitter operates, replace old transmitter. If new transmitter does not operate, replace remote control door lock receiver. Reprogram replacement remote control door lock receiver to transmitter(s). See PROGRAMMING PROCEDURE  .
