Cruise Control Cable
NOTE:
If cruise control cable is adjusted too tight, throttle will not be able to close solidly, causing an unstable idle quality.
Hold throttle closed. Push down on lock tab on cable conduit until a snap is heard. See Fig 1 . Pull on throttle body end of cruise control cable to ensure 0-.007" (.0-2 mm) slack exists. Adjust if necessary. DO NOT allow throttle lever to move from idle stop.
