Power Lumbar Inoperative
- Disconnect power lumbar 4-pin connector C212 (located under driver's seat). Connect self-powered test light between harness connector C212 terminal "B" (Black wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Black wire between connector C212 and ground.
- Connect test light between harness connector C212 terminal "D" (Orange wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Orange wire between connector C212 and fuse block.
- Connect test light between power lumbar switch connector terminal "A" (Orange wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair open in Orange wire between power lumbar switch and connector C212.
- Connect self-powered test light between power lumbar switch connector terminal "B" (Black wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, replace power lumbar switch. If test light does not illuminate, check for open in Black wire between power lumbar switch and connector C212. Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, go to next step.
- Disconnect power lumbar switch connector. Connect fused jumper wire between power lumbar switch terminals "A" (Orange wire) and "B" (Black wire). If power lumbar motor runs, go to step 4). If power lumbar motor does not run, replace power lumbar pump motor. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION .
