Washer Inoperative

  1. Disconnect washer pump connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Turn wiper switch to WASH position. Connect test light between ground and Pink wire terminal of washer pump motor connector. If test light is off, go to step 3).
  2. If test light is on, leave wiper switch in WASH position. Connect test light between Pink wire and Black wire terminals of washer pump motor connector. If test light is on, replace washer pump. If test light is off, repair open Black wire between washer pump and ground.
  3. Leave wiper switch in WASH position. Disconnect wiper motor connector. Connect test light between ground and Brown wire terminal of wiper motor connector. If test light is on, replace wiper motor. If test light is off, check for open circuit in Brown wire between wiper motor and wiper switch. If Brown wire is okay, replace wiper switch.
