Power Door Lock Control Module Attempts To Lock Doors While Side Door Remains Open

  1. Disconnect power door lock control module connector. Connect self-powered test light between module connector terminal "F" (White/Black wire) and ground. Open side door. If test light does not come on, go to next step. If test light does come on, replace power door lock control module.
  2. Disconnect side door jamb switch connector. Connect self-powered test light between side door jamb switch connector terminal "B" (Black wire) and ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in Black wire.
  3. Connect fused jumper wire between voltage and power door lock control module connector terminal "F" (White/Black wire). Connect test light between side door jamb switch connector terminal "A" (White/Black wire) and ground. If test light comes on, replace side door jamb switch. If test light does not come on, repair open circuit in White/Black wire.
