Description & Operation: Notes

The trunk lid or hatchback release system allows trunk lid or hatchback to be opened using a remote release switch. Release switch is located in glove box, on instrument panel or on console. On models with Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) systems, trunk/hatchback can also be opened using RKE transmitter.

Some station wagon models also have a rear window glass release that allows rear window to be opened using remote release switch or RKE system.
