Ignition Coil: Removal
- Ensure ignition switch is in "OFF" or "LOCK" position.
- Remove four-terminal PCM connector at ignition coil module.
- Remove ignition coil wiring connectors and ignition coil harness.
- Remove bolt/screw and stud (5 and 6).
- Remove ignition coil assembly (4). DO NOT wipe silicone grease from bottom of ignition coil assembly if it is to be reinstalled.
NOTE:
If a new ignition coil assembly is to be installed, a package of silicone grease will be included in the box. This grease is necessary for ignition coil assembly cooling.
