Passive Locking Procedure

Passive remote locking function can be accessed from only transmitter in range, receiver awake mode. If ignition has not been turned on, PKE system will lock doors if passive unlock/lock feature has been enabled, valid transmitter has been sensed once, key is not in ignition and 5 seconds have elapsed since transmitter has left range.

If ignition has been turned on while a valid transmitter is in range, PKE receiver will lock doors and arm the Universal Theft Deterrent (UTD) when passive unlock/lock feature has been enabled, valid transmitter has been sensed once, ignition was on but has been switched to OFF position, key is not in ignition, there has been a door ajar switch transition, and 5 seconds have elapsed since transmitter has left field of range. When PKE system has locked doors, it will then send an arm UTD signal to Central Control Module (CCM).
