Test Description

  1. Checks if Driver Information Center (DIC) buttons are malfunctioning and setting CCM diagnostic trouble codes 13 or 14.
  2. Checks if 5-volt pull-up is present at program request input of PKE receiver.
  3. Determines if 5-volt pull-up is reaching CCM program request output.
  4. Determines if PKE receiver is recognizing a manual program request.
  5. Determines if transmitter battery is weak or a possible antenna problem is present.
  6. Determines if an antenna problem is present or if transmitter to be programmed is at fault.
  7. Determines if transmitter or antenna is malfunctioning.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart (2 of 2).


  1. Checks if CCM is causing problem.
  2. Checks for a short to ground in circuit No. 1455 or PKE being cause of problem.
  3. Checks for connector or terminal problem.
  4. Checks for incorrect programming procedures.
  5. Checks system by using another transmitter.
