Passenger Compartment Discriminating Sensor: Removal

- Before proceeding, follow air bag service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONS. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM.
- Passenger compartment discriminating sensor is located under instrument panel lower extension housing. Remove right sound insulator. Pull carpet back from behind instrument panel lower extension housing, uncovering passenger department discriminating sensor. Remove CPA clip and disconnect sensor electrical connector. Remove fasteners and sensor.
