NOTE: Use only DOT 3 brake fluid from a sealed container.

Before servicing system, place rear displacement cylinder pistons in upper position. To position pistons, connect Tech 1 scan tester, and enter Manual Control function. Ensure enable relay is on. Apply front and rear motor. Pistons should return to upper position. If Tech 1 scan tester is not available, bleed front brakes only. Ensure brakes are okay. Drive vehicle at least 4 MPH to initialize ABS. ABS initialization will return rear displacement cylinder piston to upper position. Brake system is now ready for service.
