Washer Inoperative

  1. Disconnect washer pump motor connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect test light between ground and Pink wire terminal of washer pump connector with WASH button pushed. If test light does not glow, go to step 3).
  2. If test light glows, connect test light between Pink and Black wire terminals of washer pump connector with WASH button pushed. If test light glows, replace washer pump. If test light does not glow, repair open in Black wire between washer pump and ground.
  3. Connect test light between ground and Gray wire terminal of wiper motor connector with WASH button pushed. If test light does not glow, replace wiper switch. If test light glows, connect test light between ground and Pink wire terminal of wiper motor connector.
  4. If test light glows, repair open in Pink wire between wiper motor and washer pump. If test light does not glow, repair or replace wiper motor.
