Steering Gear: Notes
WARNING:
Before removing steering gear from vehicles with Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system (air bag), observe all applicable cautions. See appropriate STEERING COLUMNS article in STEERING. To prevent damage to SIR coil assembly, set front wheels in straight-ahead position and lock cylinder in LOCK position.
