Component Locations

WARNING: Vehicles are equipped with air bag supplemental restraint system. Before attempting any repairs involving steering column, instrument panel or related components, see SERVICE PRECAUTIONS and DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
CAUTION: When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.

Component Location
Data Link Connector (DLC) Attached To Instrument Panel Carrier, Right Of Steering Column. See Fig 1 .
Diagnostic Energy Reserve Module (DERM) Driver Side Of Instrument Panel, Above Convenience Center. See Fig 2 .
Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) Driver Side Of Instrument Panel, Above Convenience Center. See Fig 2 .
Engine Control Module (ECM) Attached To Base Of Passenger "A" Pillar. See Fig 3 .
C204 (37 Terminals) Body Harness To Engine Harness, Behind Passenger Side Of Instrument Panel, Between Blower Motor and Instrument Panel Compartment. See Fig 3 .
G104 Passenger Cylinder Head, Below Exhaust Manifold. See Fig 4 .
P100 Passenger Side Of Instrument Panel, Forward Of Blower Motor. See Fig 3 .
S109 Engine Harness, Near A/C Pressure Cycling Switch Connector Breakout
S240 Body Harness, Near Turn/Hazard Switch Connector Breakout
S250 Engine Harness, In C204 Branch Near Connector
