Stoplight Switch
NOTE:
DO NOT use excessive force when pulling brake pedal rearward or damage to power booster may result.
- With brake pedal depressed, install stoplight switch into retainer until switch body seats on retainer in switch mounting bracket. Ensure a clicking noise is heard when stoplight switch is installed in retainer.
- Pull brake pedal rearward against pedal stop with a force of 42 lbs. (19 kg) until no clicking sounds can be heard. Stoplight switch is now positioned properly.
