Washer Inoperative

  1. Disconnect washer pump motor connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect test light between ground and Pink wire terminal of washer pump connector with WASH button pushed. If test light does not come on, go to step 3).
  2. If test light comes on, connect test light between Pink and Black wire terminals of washer pump connector with WASH button pushed. If test light comes on, replace washer pump. If test light does not come on, repair open in Black wire between washer pump and ground.
  3. Connect test light between ground and Gray wire terminal of wiper motor connector with WASH button pushed. If test light does not come on, replace wiper switch. If test light comes on, connect test light between ground and Pink wire terminal of wiper motor connector.
  4. If test light comes on, repair open in Pink wire between wiper motor and washer pump. If test light does not come on, repair or replace wiper motor.
