Stoplight Switch

  1. With brake pedal depressed, install stoplight switch into retainer until switch body seats on retainer in switch mounting bracket. Ensure a click is heard when stoplight switch is installed in retainer.
  2. Pull brake pedal rearward against pedal stop with a force of 42 lbs. (19 kg) until no clicking sound can be heard. Stoplight switch will be positioned in retainer to obtain correct adjustment.
