Front Wipers Operate In Low Speed Only

  1. Remove connector from wiper motor. Turn ignition on. Place wiper switch in HI position. Using a voltmeter, measure voltage from Purple wire of wiper motor connector to ground. If battery voltage exists, check for defective connection at Purple wire connection of wiper motor. If connection is okay, replace wiper motor.
  2. If battery voltage does not exist, check for open in Purple wire between wiper switch and front wiper motor. Check for defective connection at Purple wire of wiper switch. If wire and connection are okay, replace wiper switch.
