Reversible electric motors are located in each door. Each motor contains a circuit breaker and a self-locking gear drive. Individual switches are used for all passenger windows.

Corvette uses a pair of single switches mounted on the console and no door switches. All models are grounded through the console switch.

A junction block, located on left shroud, connects body power accessories to chassis wiring. Power window wiring harness plugs into the accessory block. A 30-amp circuit breaker mounted on fuse panel protects wiring for all power window systems.
