Brake System Warning Light

The BRAKE warning light indicates that either the parking brake is engaged or there is a malfunction of the dual braking system. The light should come on briefly when ignition switch is turned to the ON position, It should go out after engine is started and the parking brake is released. If the light stays on, servicing is needed.
