Checking Fluid Level: Sprint

  1. Unscrew fluid level gauge from side case of transaxle. Insert fluid level gauge through opening until bottom shoulder of threaded part of gauge rests on top of side case.
  2. Remove gauge and check oil level. Fluid level should be between "FULL" and "LOW" lines. If fluid level is below "LOW" line, add fluid until it reaches "FULL" line.
NOTE: During fluid change on Sprint, clean drain plug and apply sealant (GM 1052080) to plug threads. If transaxle is cold, tighten drain plug to 18-22 ft. lbs. (24-30 N.m). If transaxle is warm, tighten drain plug to 15-18 ft. lbs. (20-24 N.m).
