Low Coolant Module

  1. Disconnect coolant module connector and turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. With Yellow/Black wire for coolant switch disconnected, measure voltage between Pink/Black wire and ground. Voltmeter should read battery voltage. If there is no battery voltage, check Pink/Black wire for an open.
  2. Measure voltage between module Pink/Black wire and module Black ground wire. Voltmeter should read battery voltage. If there is no battery voltage, check Black wire for an open.
  3. Measure voltage at wire connecting low coolant module to instrument cluster. Voltmeter should read battery voltage. If there is no battery voltage, check wire for an open between low coolant module and instrument cluster. Check printed circuit for flaws.
  4. Measure voltage between Pink/Black wire and Yellow/Black wire to low coolant sensor. Voltmeter should read zero volts. If voltage is present, check Yellow/Black wire for a short to ground.
