Steering Column: Installation

  1. Place wheels in a straight-ahead position. Align flat part of lower joint shaft "A" with bolt hole in upper side joint "B". Insert lower joint shaft into upper side joint. See Fig 1 .

  2. Finger tighten joint side bolt. First tighten lower column bracket nuts and then upper column bracket nuts. Tighten joint side bolt.
  3. Install combination switch and steering wheel. Connect ignition switch and combination switch harness connectors. Install joint cover.
