Overhaul - 76 Mm 5 Speed: Description

The 76 mm 5-speed transaxle is a constant mesh, fully synchronized transaxle. All forward gears are in constant mesh, while reverse gear uses a sliding idler gear for engagement.

The unit consist of an aluminum case, aluminum rear cover, input shaft, output shaft, and a differential assembly. The input shaft, output shaft, and differential assembly are all supported by tapered roller bearings. The final output gear (an integral part of output shaft) turns ring gear and differential assembly, drive axles, and front wheels.
