Pulse Wipe System Check: Notes

  1. Turn ignition switch to "ACCY" position. Move wiper/washer switch to "PULSE" position. Wipers make one complete sweep and wait zero to 25 seconds before automatically sweeping again. The wait time is adjusted by turning the pulse delay control.
  2. Move switch to "LO" position. Wipers should operate continuously at low speed. Move switch to "HI". Wiper action should speed up.
  3. Move switch to "OFF" position. Wipers should park at low speed. Push washer switch for just a moment (less than a second). Washer should spray windshield for 2.5 seconds. Wipers should turn on at low speed and continue for 6 seconds after washer stops.
  4. Move switch to "PULSE" position and activate washer for longer than one second. Washer should spray windshield as long as switch is held on. Wipers should sweep steadily for 6 seconds after washer switch is released and return to pulse operation.
  5. Move switch to "MIST" position and release. Washer should spray windshield and turn on at low speed for one sweep. Wipers then should return to park position.
