Diagnosis & Testing: Notes

Check the following before doing SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS.

Check fuses for: STOP/HAZARD, BRAKES, INJECTOR 1 and GAUGES.
Check fusible link "J" (left rear corner of engine compartment at jump start junction block).
Check brake fluid level.
Check that pump motor relay and solenoid valve relay are firmly seated.
Check that Control Module connector is properly mated.
If ABS pressure problem exists, or if the pump does not operate, check grounds G320 on coupe (center of left center lock pillar) or G401 on convertible (right side cargo compartment).
If the ANTI-LOCK indicator light remains on and the ABS system works okay, check that control module connector is tightly seated. Also check for bent pins or pulled-out terminals.
