Start Inhibit Cable
- Remove center console cover. Shift trans. selector lever to "P" position. Loosen cable sheath lock nuts. Pull cable sheath forward until all slack is removed. See Fig 1 .
- Hand tighten outer lock nut. Tighten inner lock nut. Check tightness of outer lock nut. Ensure ignition key will operate column lock in the "P" position.
- Move trans. selector lever to any other position. Ensure ignition key cannot be turned from "ACC" to "LOCK" position. If so, readjust start inhibit cable.
