SERVICE INFORMATION
All 1985 models and the 1984 "J" series use "captured" -type o-rings at refrigerant hose and tube connections. All other past models use the "standard type" o-ring configuration. The A/C compressor ports to hose assembly continues to use the speicial o-ring. A new o-ring, specifically for the 3/4 inch tube of an evaporator/condensor block fitting, has been released. The 1/2 inch tube of the evaporator/ condensor block fitting will continue to use the previous captured o-ring.

When replacing A/C system o-rings, the correct size and type should be carefully determined. Installing o-rings of improper size and/or type may result in a refrigerant leak.
