Water Temperature Gauge
- Disconnect connector from sender gauge. Connect positive lead from voltmeter to terminal and connect negative lead from voltmeter to body ground.
- Turn ignition switch or starter switch to "ON" position. Check that meter needle vibrates near 4.5V position. If not, remove and test receiver gauge.
- Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between terminals IG and TU on receiver gauge. Resistance should be about 55 ohms. If not, replace receiver gauge.
