Cooling System Specifications: Thermostat

On all models, except Cavalier and Celebrity, the thermostat contains a restriction valve actuated by a thermostatic element. The Cavalier and Celebrity thermostat is the pellet-type. On Chevette models, thermostat is designed to open and close at 190° F (88°C). On all other models, thermostat is designed to open and close at 195° F (91°C).
