Fuel Gauge
- Disconnect connector from fuel sender gauge. Connect positive lead from voltmeter to terminal 1 and connect negative lead from voltmeter to body ground.
- Turn ignition switch or starter switch to "ON" position. Check that meter needle vibrates near 4.5V position. If voltage is not correct, remove and test receiver gauge.
- To test receiver gauge, use an ohmmeter and measure resistance between terminals IG and FU. Resistance should be about 55 ohms. If not, replace receiver gauge.
