Injection Pump Seals (Off-Vehicle Service): Notes

Timing cover, auto advance, hydraulic head, and drive shaft seal replacement require removal of injection pump from vehicle. See Removal & Installation in this article. Whenever seals are replaced, injection pump must be pressure tested. See Injection Pump Housing Pressure Test in this article.
