Adjusting The MVS

  1. Shut off engine and remove MVS adjusting hole plug. DO NOT  move the MVS assembly. Turn the adjustment screw in 1/8 turn increments. Reinstall the adjusting hole plug and perform the voltage tests. See MVS Testing in this article.
  2. If voltage is not to specifications, readjust the MVS as needed. Use a new "O" ring seal on final installation of MVS plug and tighten to 30 INCH Lbs. (3.5 N.m). Reconnect electrical connections, start engine, check for fuel leaks and install air crossover and air cleaner assembly.
