Control Pressure Too Low
- Low transmission fluid level
- Defective vacuum modulator assembly
- Oil screen blocked or restricted; gasket omitted or damaged
- Incorrect oil pump gear clearance; pump gears damaged, worn or installed backward; pump-to-case gasket out of position; defective pump body and/or cover; bottom seal ring on pump cover hub omitted or damaged; priming valve in pump omitted
- Valve body pressure regulator or boost valve stuck; pressure regulator valve spring too weak; No. 1 check ball omitted from valve body; loose valve body bolts; valve body spacer plate support omitted; reverse and modulator boost valve stuck
- Internal leak in forward clutch circuit (pressure low in Drive, normal in Neutral and Reverse); check pump oil seal rings and forward clutch seals
- Internal leak in direct clutch circuit (pressure low in Reverse, normal in other ranges); direct clutch outer seal and 1-2 and 2-3 accumulator pistons and rings damaged or missing
- Intermediate servo piston seal ring broken or omitted
