Spark Knock

  1. Inspect MAP sensor hose for fuel or restrictions. Check MAP sensor for proper operation. Inspect for high fuel system pressure caused by defective pressure regulator.
  2. Check for overheating problems. Ensure EGR valve is opening. Ensure correct PROM is installed in ECM.
